HYDRANT FLUSHING

The Village of Muscoda Street Department will begin flushing hydrants on Tuesday, July 15 through Thursday, July 17.  During the flushing process, you may experience temporary water discoloration or pressure drop.  This is a normal and expected occurrence.  If you notice any discoloration in your water, we recommend turning on the faucet and letting it run for a few minutes until the water is clear.  As always, any questions or concerns related to the hydrant flushing process, please feel free to contact the office at 739.3182.

Summer Watering Program

Residential customers may sign up on the Summer Watering Program where they elect to have their sewerage volume service charge for the months of June, July and August estimated based upon their average of water usage. The estimated amount of water usage will be calculated by averaging three (3) months of usage when the residence is occupied.

To be eligible for current year, written election must be made prior to April 30th. Once written election has been made, a five dollar ($5.00) yearly processing fee will automatically be included each year on the June utility bill in the form of a miscellaneous charge until written notice to revoke by the user is submitted or the user no longer resides at the address.

If a residential home is not occupied for six (6) months, a minimum sewerage charge of 1,000 gallons will be charged for June, July and August consumption months.
